Alumni Association Awards Nomination

Each year the Alumni Association Board of Directors selects individuals and organizations for significant achievements and contributions in the following areas:

Outstanding Achievement Award - Recognizes an alumnus/alumna who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in his or her vocation.

Outstanding Service Award - Recognizes an alumnus/alumna who has rendered exemplary service to Augustana College or who have reflected honor on their alma mater by exceptional community service.

Finest Under Forty Award - Recognizes and alumnus/alumna under forty who has demonstrated achievement in his or her vocation, contribution to Augustana College, or service to the community.

Honorary Alumnus/Alumna - Recognizes significant contribution to Augustana by a friend of the college who did not graduate from Augustana.

The Richard A. Swanson Humanitarian Award - Recognizes the recipient’s service to the church, to Augustana and/or involvement with humanitarian social issues (e.g., addressing poverty, injustice, or prejudice) on a local, state, or national level.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award - Recognizes an individual or organization for work to promote diversity, equity and inclusion at Augustana College or within the community

Viking Vocation Award - Recognizes an individual, business or organization who has demonstrated support in the advancement of career success of past, present or future students of Augustana College.

To make a nomination, complete and submit the form below. The deadline for an award to be considered for 2024 is March 1, 2024. All awards received after this date will be considered in 2025.

Nominations should be received by March 1 to be considered. Nominations received after that date will be considered the next award-review cycle. All applications will be considered for two award-review cycles. After that date, nominators are advised to re-submit a nomination.
