Oktoberfest Beer Tasting

Tim Faith '11 cites Dr. Dara Wegman-Geedey's microbiology class as a catalyst for his interest in brewing beer. Since then, Tim has gone on to a career in brewing, working now at Chicago's Goose Island Beer Company as a brewer focused on research and development and innovation in the development of new brews.

Tim and Dr. Wegman-Geedey will walk us through some of the microbiology of brewing beer as well as a guided tasting of some of the commonly-found Oktoberfest beers listed below
