Join the GOLD Council!

The Augustana College GOLD Council (Graduates of the Last Decade) connects young alumni with one another and the college. Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant, engaged community through social events, professional networking, and strategic outreach.

Membership & Application

We are currently seeking applicants from the Classes of 2016–2026. While applications are accepted year-round, please note the following timeline for the upcoming term:

Application Deadline: May 30 (to be considered for the July 1 term start).
Notification: Mid-June.

Commitment & Meetings

Full Council: Meets four times per year, including one in-person meeting during Homecoming.
Committees: Members serve on one of two committees. Committees meet virtually on the second Tuesday of every month from 7-8 p.m.

Our Committees

Members contribute their talents to one of the following areas:

Events & Engagement (E&E): Focuses on building a diverse alumni community. This team plans social events, manages marketing and recruitment strategies, and recognizes outstanding young alumni.
Professional Development: Bridge the gap between graduation and career success. This team organizes networking events and facilitates mentorship opportunities between alumni and current students.
